Picking Up for an Unexpected Need

A local grandmother unexpectedly became the caregiver of her five grandchildren, and shortly after welcoming them into her home, she also lost her job. Overnight, her world changed; and so did her needs. Our organization was grateful for the chance to help, even in a small way, by picking up a donated dollhouse and a queen‑sized mattress and delivering them straight to her home.
