Provisions for Someone In Need

This nice lady was recently separated due to some unfortunate circumstances. Adjusting to living alone, especially financially, can be incredibly difficult. The Overlap Group was able to support her by providing essential consumable household items.

She told us that when she first saw our Facebook post asking for people who needed help, she worried it might be a scam. But she was desperate for some relief, so she took a chance and dropped a comment. She was shocked by the abundance of supplies we dropped off at her home and was overwhelmed with gratitude.

This is why we do it. Let’s build a world where trust, love, and service are the social norms. I look forward to living in a place where we can trust people who offer a helping hand. We can build it, together --one smiling face at a time.
