Growing a Greenhouse
There was a family who began a greenhouse project quite a number of months ago. They collected plenty of windows and gathered some construction materials, but then the husband was laid off from work. After nearly a year of searching for employment, they no longer had the resources to finish the project. AAAH! Lug Nuts!
This is just a tiny little thing, but it so perfectly illustrates how we should be as Overlapers! Always looking for someone to help. Today, I was in the tool aisle at Ace Hardware waiting to speak with an employee about a product. I overheard the employee having a conversation with another customer about how he had a flat tire but the lug nuts on his wheel were seized up and he wasn't able to get them off with a regular tire iron. He said he didn't want to spend half his pay

Helped Lady Get Connected with Cemetery Plot Management
A nice lady contacted us for help regarding a burial plot that she purchased years ago. She needed to speak with the management of the plot but was unable to locate any contact info. We were able to locate and speak with the owner of the cemetery and get the two parties connected. Project 5

Provide Household Items for Young Woman Leaving Foster Care
We asked for donations from the local community to help a young woman transition out of foster care and into her own apartment. We were overwhelmed by how many were willing to provide support. Thanks so much to the many people involved in helping to lighten her burdens. She was very happy to receive such kindness. Project 4

Donated Cookware and Dishes to Young Man Exiting Foster Care
A young man who recently turned 18 has aged out of foster care and is now living independently in an apartment. He was in need of nearly every essential household item. We were fortunate to be able to donate cookware, dinnerware, and a microwave. Project 3

Helped Local Establishment with Maps
We were able to assist a local self-defense school in getting their google maps presence setup. Vine Street Jui-Jitsu has been operating successfully only by word-of-mouth until now. We are happy to see them get better public visibility. They’re doing something super cool over at Vine Street—helping their students push beyond their limits to become better versions of who they are. Project 2

Help with Cellphone Bill
We were able to raise the funds to help an individual who is struggling financially pay off their phone debts. I hope they are feeling better with that weight lifted from their shoulders. Project 1
